orbital

Orbital is one of the most unique techno acts i've heard. I respect them for making doo with what they had, recording their first tract using multiple cassette decks rather than a studio. They have a very moody and clean style, very original and musical. Their style ranges from a mix of pretty trance to breakish tribal. And do they know how to use samples. "What does god say?" is one of my favorites, off of the track "Are we here?" on Snivilization. "The Box" is their new one, with an excellent video (sometimes seen on MTV's "AMP"). The new album "In Sides" rocks, it never seems to run out of danceable yet dreamy combinations of sound and drums. Their vocalist(?s) confuse me, being Alison Goldfrapp on "Snivilization" and someone named Auntie on "In Sides", but these sound like the same person. I guess not. Maybe some one out there can answer this question for me. Anyways, here are some links to Orbital sites:
