Although this peice was never finished, I'd like to consider it still a work in progress. It was supposed to be about the visual audio array a character experiences when he goes to a "rave" party. It starts with a tangible character and then gradually turn into an abstract visual assortment of original and innovative shapes and colors, along with throbbing and obscure electronic dance music. The character will get caught up in the overload of the senses, become frightened, but then finally give in and dance to the almost tangible wave of bliss venting from all the people there. Hopefully this piece will end up showing the scene in a positive light, aside from the ignorant beating the media has been giving it recently. This is a clip from an animation of numbers that morph from 8, counting down to 2, like the numbers you see on a film before an old movie. This is used to cue up any animation i put on videotape. The camera then flies into his head, and through a rainbow fractal-like passageway, until it reaces the same room with the character in it. Then the animation loops over again, a total of 3 times. This clip from an animation of a fly, who slowly takes off and flies into the clouds. This is a clip from the first animation i ever made. It has this little guy standing on a chrome hand. The fingers start to close in, so he jumps up, and then hits the ceiling.
