Aphex Twin aka AFX aka Plygon Window aka DiceMan aka Caustic Window aka
just plain Richard James. This guy is a twisted genius, although he could
care less about his fans. He's got an unusual philosophy about making
music, he does it for him alone and does not care of the consequences,
other than the fact that he won't have to get a real job. Aphex Twin
is erradic and sometimes impossible to listen to, but at other times it's
the funkiest and prettiest thing i've ever heard. It ranges from loud
distorted hardcore beats to soft and sleepy ambient. I have been making
music for years, then i heard Aphex Twin, and i thought to myself "oh
my god this is me. what i am doing is already being done. people will
think i am just an afx twin ripoff." People agree, i sound like afx, but
i have been this before i ever heard him. I gess all his is now to me is a
major music inspiration, but not a role model. I want to be more
musical and danceable than afx, but still have a complex distorted eerie
